The earrings measure approximately 11mm by 14mm with a 17mm overall drop. This collection is based on a beautiful illuminated Gospel book from the late 8th Century. The pattern of intertwining cords is derived from Eastern and Celtic art, and passed into the repertoire of British and Irish artists
