The original cards were considered more of a novelty item because the crude player drawings on the cards actually "developed" when moistened and exposed to light. Included in this set are Jimmy Foxx, Al Simmons, Dizzy Dean, Connie Mack, Rogers Hornsby, Mickey Cochrane, Lefty Grove, Gabby Hartnett, Burleigh Grimes, Babe Herman, Paul Waner and others.
