Kristallen vaas met zilveren voet, J.M. Steiger, Amsterdam, 1855 Denekamp Silver from 's-Hertogenbosch issued byLarge crystal vase with a silver base made by the Amsterdam silversmith Johannes Martinus Steiger. He worked from 1846 to 1876. The silver base is beautifully engraved with floral and leaf motifs. The silver is marked with the second standard hallmark, Minerva head A, date letter V for 1855 and the master's mark S with a brandy bowl. The vase has a small chip, but is otherwise in good condition. The vase has a filled base. Weight: 451. 8 grams.
