Akersloot, Haarlem, 1740 Titel:Default Title All parts are hallmarked withSilver tea caddy with shell and acanthus leaf motifs, made by silversmith Andries Akersloot (Citroen 133) from Haarlem. He was active from 1718 to 1758. During his working life, this silversmith mainly focused on making tea and sugar caddies, teapots, brandy bowls and salt cellars. Andries Akersloot was successively a councillor, inspector, dean and former dean in Haarlem in the period from 1721 to 1737. In 1742 he was the second highest assessed
